Membership in Twins by the Bay

Twins by the Bay is a private, non-profit organization run by and for its members. Twins by the Bay (TBB) serves families in the East Bay, from Rodeo to Hayward to Walnut Creek, with most members in Berkeley, Oakland, and Alameda. Established in 1998 by founder Susie Robertson, the goal of TBB is to educate, support and assist parents in the raising of multiple birth children. The Board of Directors are all volunteers and parents of multiples.

Membership is only for families who have or are presently expecting multiples (twins, triplets, etc.).

Twins by the Bay does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual preference or orientation, gender identification, citizenship status, or other legally protected status. Twins by the Bay welcomes multiples and families of multiples from all backgrounds.

You are welcome to attend our New & Expectant Support Meetings to see what we are about and meet some of our members and ask questions. See the Event Calendar to find the date of the next meeting.

If you have questions about or need help becoming a member, please email membership@twinsbythebay.org.

If you are a former member and want to renew, click Member Login in the top right to log in or request a password reset. You will be prompted to renew once you have logged in. If you have any trouble, please email membership@twinsbythebay.org.

Dues

Standard Memberships in TBB entitles the member to access the resources on the club website, private club communications channels, club functions and activities, and loaner closets. Dues are $50 per year. Fifteen dollars of each membership is paid to Multiples of America, to access their resources, newsletters, and webinars.

Supporter Memberships are for those who want to provide extra financial support for Twins by the Bay so that lower Base memberships can be offered to those in need and to ensure that TBB remains fiscally solvent. Supporter Members have all the same benefits of a Standard Membership.

Base Memberships are for those who cannot afford the Standard Membership. The fee for a Base Membership only covers TBB's fixed annual per member cost and not the extras. Base Members have all the same benefits as a Standard Membership.

All membership types are eligible to add on up to two additional Family Members for $20 each, entitling each Family Member to both their own TBB account and MoA Membership.

Membership Expiration

New and renewing members join TBB for one year and their membership will expire one year after their join date. Members must renew on or before their expiration date in order to stay a member and continue receiving benefits. Expired members may rejoin TBB at any point and their membership will expire one year after rejoining TBB.

Scholarships are available if TBB dues are a hardship.
